As a Somatic Embodiment & Tantra Practitioner, Avery has dedicated the last 8 years of her life to the profound journey of personal growth and transformation. Her path into the realm of holistic well-being and consciousness began with a profound initiation as an Usui Holy Fire Reiki Master III / ART practitioner, guided by the wisdom of Wayne Hildabrand and Sonya Latch in 2017. This was her first step into the world of energy work and spirituality, setting the stage for a remarkable journey ahead.
In 2017, Avery began receiving personal Life Coaching from Amiri Paul, initiating her on her soul's path and journey. Working closely with Amiri Paul today, Avery continues to learn and expand from his wisdom and profound grounded knowledge. To this day, Avery highly recommends Amiri Paul as a Life Coach of the highest degree, even referring her own clients and family to work with him.
Throughout her transformative journey, she has had the privilege of apprenticing in Shamanism under the guidance of Diane Donovan Vaughn, a Shaman, as well as, a licensed minister, therapist and counselor, whose wisdom in soul work and the mystical opened new doors of understanding. This apprenticeship laid a strong foundation in the esoteric, soul work, and the mystical, which continues to shape her approach to Somatic Embodiment & Tantra.
In 2018, Avery took on the role of facilitating and leading women's circles with House of the Goddess, a sacred community cultivated by Obsidian Whyte. This experience allowed Avery to connect deeply with others on their paths of personal development and consciousness.
Between 2019 and 2021, Avery also hosted and led multiple retreat immersions, guiding people deeper into their expressive body wisdom. These retreats were transformative experiences for those seeking to connect with their inner selves and unlock their true potential. She has also been brought into many other transformational containers to teach and guide groups through these deeply embodied practices.
Avery's quest for personal and spiritual growth led her to Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) in 2019. She embarked on this journey, eventually graduating from Tony Robbins' Mastery University, and went on to become a leader in his events. This experience broadened her perspective on mindset and personal development.
Studying Somatic Therapy and Expressive Art Therapy through the teachings of Daria Halprin under the guidance of Maya Night further enriched her understanding of the body-mind connection. In 2020, Avery graduated from Maya Night's Muse Alchemy Facilitator training, a transformative program that combines the Western Mechanistic View, Tantrik/Yogic View, Expressive Arts Therapy, and the Shamanic View. This holistic approach forms the core of her practice as a Somatic Embodiment & Tantra Practitioner.
In 2021, Avery also had the privilege of participating in Bryant Wood's powerful, informative, transformational Tantrik Breath work Course. This experience further deepened her understanding of the body-mind connection and the transformative potential of breath work, shadow work and integrating the subconscious mind through joy and pleasure.
In 2021, Avery delved even deeper into the mysteries of personal growth and transformation by undertaking a journey into the realms of a mystery school initiation through the International School of Temple Arts. So passionate about this transformative work, she began assisting their immersions as part of the leadership team, completing level 2 in 2023.
Avery continued to expand her knowledge and skills by apprenticing under the guidance of Laurie Handlers and Briana Cribeyer as a Sex & Happiness Coach in 2022. Additionally, she completed Coaches Rising, Power of Embodied Transformation, and Somatic Trauma Informed Coaching in the same year. Avery's commitment to constant study, updating, and evolving her understanding as a Somatic/Embodiment & Tantra Practitioner is unwavering.
